11 - Cooking spray or vegetable oil

→ Dipping Sauce

12 - 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
13 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce

# How-To Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, flaked crab meat, sliced spring onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and evenly incorporated.
02 - Position a wonton wrapper on a clean work surface. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of filling into the center of each wrapper.
03 - Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold diagonally to form a triangle, pressing out air pockets and sealing firmly. For traditional shape, bring the two bottom corners together and seal.
04 - Continue filling and sealing remaining wrappers with the crab and cream cheese mixture until all are complete.
05 - Lightly coat all wontons with cooking spray or brush with a thin layer of vegetable oil on all sides.
06 - Set air fryer to 375°F and allow to preheat for 3 minutes.
07 - Place wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap or touch.
08 - Air fry for 7 to 9 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until golden brown and crispy throughout.
09 - Transfer hot wontons to a serving plate and accompany with dipping sauce on the side.

# Tips for Success:

01 -
  • Light & Crispy: Achieves a perfect golden texture using an air fryer instead of deep frying.
  • Quick Preparation: Ready to serve in just 30 minutes from start to finish.
  • Versatile Flavors: A savory, creamy center that pairs beautifully with sweet and spicy dipping sauces.
02 -
  • Lightly brush the wontons with oil if you don't have cooking spray to help them achieve a deep-fried color.
  • Work with a few wrappers at a time and keep the others covered with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket; air circulation is necessary for the wontons to become perfectly crisp.
